Biography

Patrick Chan is considered one of the best men’s figure skaters of all time. As many young Canadians do, Patrick wanted to play hockey from an early age and first enrolled in figure skating classes to learn how to skate; the rest is history. 

During his competitive career, Patrick won a record setting 10 National Championships and won three consecutive World Championship titles from 2011-13. Patrick is a three-time Olympian, and three-time Olympic medalist, winning his first gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in the Team Event, before announcing his retirement from competitive skating.

Patrick is involved with a number of organizations including Special Olympics B.C. and Ronald McDonald House of Charities. Patrick now works and lives in B.C., and continues to entertain audiences around the world.
