Jamie Salé & David Pelletier and Cynthia Phaneuf Join 2010 Sears® Stars on Ice® Presented by Samsung®

(Feb. 4, 2010 Toronto, ON) Sears Stars on Ice Presented by Samsung is proud to announce that Olympic Gold Medalists, World Champions & Three-Time Canadian National Champions Jamie Salé & David Pelletier will be joining the 2010 Tour. Both Salé & Pelletier will be commentating during the Winter Games for CTV, after which, they are thrilled to return and skate with Sears Stars on Ice Presented by Samsung for the 20th Anniversary Tour. 

Also joining the Sears Stars on Ice Presented by Samsung Tour is Canadian National Champion & 2010 Olympic Team Member Cynthia Phaneuf. After capturing the silver medal at the 2010 Canadian National Championships, Phaneuf is proud to be representing Canada at this year's Winter Games. Phaneuf is excited, and looking forward to skating live with the Sears Stars on Ice Presented by Samsung Tour for audiences across our country. 

The Sears Stars on Ice Presented by Samsung Tour, founded and produced by Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton, is one of the premier family entertainment events in Canada. Cast members performing in the 2010 20th Anniversary Tour also include Four-Time World Champion & Four-Time Canadian National Champion Kurt Browning, Olympic Medalist, World Champion & Three-Time Canadian National Champion Jeffrey Buttle, World Silver Medalist, Six-Time Canadian National Champion & 2010 Olympic Team Member Joannie Rochette, Three-Time Canadian National Champions & 2010 Olympic Team Members Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir, and Two-Time World Silver Medalists & Five-Time Canadian National Champions Marie-France Dubreuil & Patrice Lauzon.

The 2010 Sears Stars on Ice Presented by Samsung Tour will kick off on April 22nd in Halifax, NS and will visit 12 cities across Canada, coming to a conclusion with a grand finale on May 14th in Vancouver, BC.
