Six Time Canadian Champion and Olympian Jennifer Robinson Welcomes Baby Girl

NEW YORK - Jennifer Robinson and her husband Shane Dennison are proud to announce the birth of their first child, a girl, Reese McKenna Dennison, born February 2, 2010 at 6: 12 am at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, ON. "Both Jennifer and the baby are doing great" said Shane, the proud new father.

"Jennifer is still going to Vancouver, just a week later than planned, to fulfill her duties with CTV as a commentator for the women's and ice dance figure skating events." said her agent David Baden of IMG. "Reese decided not to wait and wanted to be part of the 2010 games as a spectator, I was expecting her five weeks from now...so this was a big surprise but a welcome one." said Jennifer from her hospital room in Barrie.

The plan is for Jennifer and the baby to rest at home for the week and then make the trip to Vancouver for the Olympics. Jennifer's husband and mother, Louise Robinson, will accompany Jennifer to Vancouver. Jennifer plans to resume her work with Rogers TV and return to skating once she returns home in March.

"This is such a happy time in our lives, Shane and I were anxious to have a child and holding her in my arms is a feeling I cannot begin to describe." said by Jennifer Robinson.
