STARS ON ICE ADDS TOP COMPETITORS FROM 2020 WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS TO TOUR CAST

(Toronto, ON) –A galaxy of international superstars as well as competitors in the upcoming World Figure Skating Championships in Montreal have been added to the already stellar cast of the 2020 Stars on Ice North American tour. Stars on Ice will now boast an impressive list of World competitors including: two-time and reigning World Champion, Olympic Bronze Medalist, and four-time and reigning United States Champion Nathan Chen; two-time Canadian Champion Nam Nguyen; reigning two-time Canadian Pair Champions Kirsten Moore-Towers & Michael Marinaro; and 2020 Canadian Dance Champions and eight-time Canadian National Medalists, Piper Gilles & Paul Poirier.The 2020 Stars on Ice tour will visit 14 cities in North America beginning in Halifax, NS on Friday, April 24th, and wrapping up in San Jose, CA on Sunday, May 17th. For a complete list of tour dates and performance times, as well as skaters performing in each market please visit www.starsonice.ca

Stars on Ice is also pleased to announce the return of two favorites to the tour for all 14 shows: two-time Olympic Silver Medalist, two-time World Champion and two-time Russian Champion Evgenia Medvedeva; and Olympic Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalists, two-time World Champions, and seven-time Canadian Pair Champions Meagan Duhamel & Eric Radford. Meagan will be taking the ice for the first time since giving birth to her first child, Zoey, last October.

The Stars on Ice performance at First Ontario Centre in Hamilton, ON on Saturday, May 2nd will be recorded as a national television special and will air in the fall of 2020.
